You will look like a Princess in this elegant, understated vintage 1940’s wedding gown.
The satin has a beautiful sheen and is a wonderful creamy white.
The plain V-Neck bodice has just a touch of beading at the bust.
The bodice comes to a V waist and the skirt falls in a full drape – just exquisite.
Long sleeves come to a point at the wrist.
One row of buttons is at each wrist.
The back of the dress has individual buttons and all buttons are covered with Satin.
The buttons extend from the nape of the neck to below the waist.
The back of the dress comes to a V, just like in the front.
The train measures just under 7 feet from the bottom of the point at the waist to the end.
It is so full and long that I cannot even get the full train in the photo.
There are three separate loops on the underside of the train with which to hold it.
Based on the dress form, we estimate that the gown is size 6-8 but go by the measurements as follows:

Sleeve Length (from top of shoulder to point):

No tears or odors.
The gown has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear with a light steaming.
Note stains as follows:

Coffee stain on the point of one of the sleeves as pictured.
I would just hem the sleeve following the point that is already there.
This is the darkest and most prominent stain.

2 small spots at the end of the train as shown
·
Slight discoloration on the satin as shown in photo.
This is not very noticeable,

There are a few other very faint stains scattered on the gown but barely noticeable.
