Vintage c.1938-1942 Wedding Dress
Bias cut wedding dress in an off white sheer organza with delicate flocking.
Original veil and photos of bride in the gown and groom!
Bias cut ivory white slip with metal side zipper underneath.
Dress has classic styling with sweetheart bodice, tight waist and flowing skirt with train.
Covered buttons down the back with loops.
Beautiful little additions such as the silk velvet florets on each side of bodice.
Veil head piece is very good condition but the tulle is breaking apart.
Photographs that came with the gown have an imprint that says Bloomington, Indiana. No name.
Measurements: dress - 14-15 inches from
shoulder to shoulder; 16 inch armhole circumference; 32 inch bust; 24 to 26 inch waist.
Slip: 32-34 inch bust; 26-28 waist; 36 hip.
Condition: Several small holes throughout the organza dress, with one or two much larger tears/holes found at shoulder in back and mid left sleeve. Slip is excellent. Both pieces have no stains or odors.
