Belgium Congo ‘Chefferie Indigene’ Native Chief’s Badge 1909-1958, silvered-brass, 70 mm in diameter, fitted with a suspension loop to facilitate wear. Issued by King Albert 1st.
Chefferie" medals with the mention "chefferie" or "sous chefferie were meant to be given to warchief's of over 6.000 villages , city's or tribes. Rare and original object only 10% had the Chefferie indigene medal. Only the big and important Chief had this one. and it is near MINT!
