Note from designer (Marci Brinker) :
I've been a graphic designer/illustrator \nfor many years and I'm always working to improve my skills. I have been \nstriving to work on more personal art projects in my free time. I've \nalways wanted to design my own deck of cards because of the unique \nchallenge it presents to create that many individual, yet unified, \npieces of art. This idea came to me when I was re-reading one my \nfavorite novels, "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman, even though only a few \nof the gods depicted in the deck are actually gods mentioned in the \nbook. Pages of sketches, hours of research, many long evening hours of \nworking in Adobe Illustrator over the course of several months, and the \ndeck was finally complete. This deck represents a lot of time and \nthought over the last 8 or 9 months, and with your help, we can make it a\n reality!
