It fits existing thermostats up to 3.1” x 2.2” x 4.1” inches (7.9cm x 5.6cm x 10.5cm) (measure your thermostat length by depth by height to ensure correct fitment – You may want to consider one size larger than your thermostat so you can reach in to change thermostat batteries). Includes open hinge (on left or right depending on installation) that lifts up and off when unlocked – Other locking thermostat covers require you to mount the hinge side at least 1-inch from any door molding, but the open hinge design on this AC lock box can be installed anywhere as it comes apart into 2 separate pieces.
