LARGE PAUL CARDEW CRIME WRITER'S DESK TEAPOT ~ Retired Edition! LIMITED EDITION NUMBERED TEAPOT THIS IS AN EXCELLENT TEAPOT IN THE SHAPE OF A DESK WHICH HOLDS A MANUSCRIPT THAT READS: Murder at the Grange Chapter l.: (Rosie Lee Arrives) The maid came in bearing a tea tray covered with a crisp white cloth. "Tea is served, Miss" she said carefully placing it before Rosie Lee. "Scones, how lovely" Rosie said, eying the heaped plate greedily.
NEXT TO THE TYPEWRITER IS AN AUTOGRAPHED PHOTO OF MARILYN MONROE THAT READS : TO PAUL WITH LOVE. A BLACK ROTARY TELEPHONE AND A PISTOL HOLDING DOWN ADDITIONAL PAGES HANG FROM THE DESK. TEAPOT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS.
It is clearly signed with gold on the base, and is numbered P/113.
The pistol and the Marilyn Monroe photograph are loose from this teapot. They aren’t broken or cracked, but have come off. It looks like there’s glue residue where they had been reattached. They would also be easily reattached if you choose to do so!
It measures about 12” wide by 8” tall and about 4.5” deep.
