Ecobee Smart sensor wall mount
NEW: Per request, I now offer a corner wall mount. same holder but with a 90-degree base so that it can be attached to a corner. Please select the "corner" option to purchase.
Minimalist design that uses the small Command strip.
No screws, pins, no damage to the wall, or paint. Mount it anywhere with a smooth flat surface. Change your mind? Remove it, apply a new strip, and install it again.
The Smart sensor is a little bit smaller and more round then the room sensor. I've improved the design to have more positive retention on the sensor by place a pair of "ears" around the side of the sensor.
What you get is 1 holder with a small command strip. If you change your mind on the mounting location you can buy new strips from just about anywhere.
This is only a mounting bracket. you will not get a sensor. Photo for reference only. NO sensor included.
If you are familiar with Command strips, then you already know how this works, and how well it works in protecting your wall paint.
Please note that this is for the smart sensor only, not the room Senors. Please make sure your sensor looks just like the one in the photos. Due to an earlier PLA shortage, I'm stuck with a bunch of "white" PLA that does not exactly match the sensor color. My holders are slightly off white.

Caution: I've been using the command strips/hooks in my house for a long time now. It has never taken paint with it during the removal process. However, if you google, you will see some reviews that state damaged paint. So please follow the manufacturer's instructions on install and removal of the strips and just be as careful as you can. Obviously, I can not guarantee that the Command tape will never damage your paint, I can only tell you that my wall is perfect after removal of the tape. And I use these (small to large) all over the house.
