This Pedestal guard top plate fit 1-1/4" guard tubing. Bushing are required and not included for 1" and 1-18" guard tubing. The bushing are available from Edison Marine. I tossed the bushing that came with the guard top plate  before I realized the plate was not going to work for my setup.  My guard is set 2" further aft of the steering pedestal than a standard installation and Edson mo longer makes the plate I require. Edson’s Stainless Top Plate - 8" for 400,402 & 464 Pedestals
is made of Investment-cast 316 Stainless and polished to a mirror finish. It will accommodate 1”, 1-1/8” and 1-1/4” pedestal guard tubing on 9-1/2” centers with the provided plastic bushings. These also provide rattle-free isolation between the stainless tubes and top plate, making removal in the future easier.
