Fantastic find! Here is a vintage white dress in prairie/cottagecore/boho/hippy/beach/romantic style. Label is "David Brown California" with a sub-label marked "Brownstone Studio New York." Made of loose/casual pleated white cotton/poly with large scale floral daisy lace. Round shape medium/high neck; loop closure plastic buttons at neck/bodice; short metal zipper at bustline; large ruffled sleeve cuffs; and large tiered layers/ruffles beginning at bodice down to the bottom hem. Has side pockets! Comes with sash/tie (but there are no loop holes for the tie). The dress is very roomy/loose with a distinct oversize look/feel. Color is a clean linen white - not white-white, but also not creamy white. Item dates from the 1970s era, perhaps the very early 1980s.
Manufacturer size tag is size Medium (M). The following measurements are on the

of the dress:
- Bust (armpit-to-armpit) on ONE SIDE is 20.5 inches (total 41 inches). Note that this dress is meant to have a loose, flowy look.
- Waist and hips are free.
- Sleeve length from shoulder seam to cuff is 19 inches.
- Length from shoulder to hem is 56 inches. There is no way to let down the hem (because there isn't one), though it could be raised.
- There is no stretch to this fabric.

This is a pre-owned vintage item. It is in pristine condition, as if barely worn. We see no stains, fading, rips, holes, or overt signs of wear. The armpits are clean and show no wear. Smells clean.
