late 1940s ivory satin wedding gown SO classy SO simple.
The shoulder to hem is measured from the side because the back goes into the train. The back of the waist to the bottom of the train is 62”
The shoulder to the point end of the sleeve is 25”
I measured the bust as best I could.
The back of the dress had 44 buttons - 1 at the bottom is missing. I show that in a photo
The cuff of each sleeve have 7 buttons, all are intact.
I am seeing no stains or tears. Selling this for the original bride who is downsizing. She was married in October 1948.
