NORMANDIE 8.5" First Class Luncheon Plate by Haviland - Very Good Condition

Description

French Line - A beautiful luncheon plate in the design as used in First Class aboard the NORMANDIE.
The 8.5" diameter plate features the thick-lined CGT logo as used on NORMANDIE's First Class china. The plate is back-marked with the manufacturer in two places - "Theodore Haviland, Limoges, France" and "Haviland, France".
The attached photo from the City of New York's superb NORMANDIE collection shows a dinner plate with this logo in use onboard.
Very good condition with light wear to the gold.
