The Pennsylvania Game Lands Series Patches are one of several collectible patch series issued by Mr. George LaVanish and his Art Business entitled “Wilderness Editions”.
My LaVanish and his business are located in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Game Land Series Patch Series was started by Mr. LaVanish in the year 2005.
This, the 2007, Whitetail Deer, State Game Lands # 166, Southcentral Region, was the 3rd patch is his Game Lands Patch Series.
State Game Lands are the public land holdings managed for hunting recreation and wildlife management by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
Monies generated from the sale of hunting licenses have been used across the years to purchase different parcels of land for creation as State Game Lands.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission, the wildlife management agency in the State of Pennsylvania, is charged with the management of these tracts of public land.
Each year Mr. LaVanish selects a different State Game Lands to be highlighted in his yearly patch.
As part of that yearly patch, a species of wildlife native to the game lands was also selected to be highlighted on the patch.
The patch was released in both a 4” and 6” patch version.
On only the 6” version, the artist, Mr. George LaVanish, signs the patches on the backside in gold ink.
Doing so has made the 6” patch version even more valuable and even more collectible.
We will be offering both patch versions here for sale in our eBay Auctions.
Some of the different years are sold out from “Wilderness Editions”.
We will make note of this in our listings so you the potential bidder will now you are bidding on a patch which is no longer available from the artist and is only available on the second market.
This

, is guaranteed to be an original and not duplication as the patch was acquired directly from “Wilderness Editions”
.
The 2007 Game Lands Series Patch features a shoulder portrait of a
Male (Buck) Whitetail Deer in the center of the patch.
A light blue sky and some blue and green shrubby have been added to the background adding to the beauty of the patch.
Above the Whitetail Deer, in a step down banner arrangement, in White Colored Lettering, is the wording “
Pennsylvania Game Lands Series
” letting you know what this particular patch commemorates.
Below the Whitetail Deer, in a partial tan keystone shape, is contained the information on the selected State Game Lands.
In 2007 that was State Game Lands
166
which is located in
Blair
County in the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s
Southcentral
Region.
All of that information is in black lettering in the partial light tan keystone shape.
Surrounding all of this is a well-sewn border of orange.
The patch is 4” in diameter and contains 9 very vivid colors and 4 size / styles of lettering.
If you are a collector of patches, you know that the more colors in a patch, the more valuable the patch is.
This patch is no exception to this rule
The patch we are selling in this eBay Listing and the patch you will receive are new / unused and have not been sewn on any garment, material or item.
The patch you will receive will be in excellent condition and the same as the one seen in the photographs. We do use stock photographs in our listing ads which means the patch you will receive may or may not vary slightly in color or patch detail.
The patch you receive will be an original, new patch but some patches in the production run do vary slightly from patch to patch.

To ship your item to you we will place the item in a plastic bag and then into a protective cardboard mailer.
After this the cardboard mailer will either be wrapped using bubble wrap or the cardboard mailer will be placed into a protective bubble wrap mailer and mailed to you.
Which packing method used will depend on the particular item you have won from us.
The shipping and handling charge will include the packing method described in the paragraph above and a shipping label produced using our business PayPal Account.
In doing so, it will include delivery confirmation along with barcode addressing.
When we ship the item you will receive an email notice, through our eBay Account, allowing you to track the shipment as it is delivered to you.
We feel barcode addressing expedites shipping therefore getting the item to you sooner.
