You are bidding on and will receive only one, 1995, Pa Game Commission, Commemorative, Black-Backed, Detailed Branch Version, Centennial Patch.
The patch is one of two highly collectible commemorative centennial patches issued by The Pennsylvania Game Commission. This was the first issued patch and was released when the agency celebrated its centennial in 1995.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission is the wildlife management agency in the State of Pennsylvania.
With this patch, it is our understanding that there are four different runs / versions of the patch.
One has a very light almost white backing, as seen in photo # 4 right side, and the other, this one, has an almost dark black backing as seen in photo # 4 left side.
Within each of colored back versions are yet two more versions.
The versions have to do with the evergreen / Hemlock trees shown on the patch.
In the one version, the evergreen trees and branches appear with less detail and the evergreen tree appear in the shape of a triangle as seen in photo # 3 right side.
In the other version, the version we are offering for sale in this eBay Auction, the evergreen trees and branches appear with more detail where the branches of the tree appear to be visible to the eye as seen in photo # 3 left side.
We will try to show this difference through the photos we are including in our auction ad. In summary of these photos, in photos 2, 3, and 4 the patch we are selling, the black backed true life, detailed branch version, is pictured on the left.
This
26 Year Old Patch
was created by the agency and sold as part of the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s 100-year anniversary in 1995
The agency was established by legislation in the year 1895 and 1995 marked their 100 years of existence as the wildlife management agency in the state of Pennsylvania.
The patch is guaranteed to be an original and not duplication as the patch was purchased directly from the agency.
The patch features an outdoor scene of an Antlered Whitetail Deer, a Ruffed Grouse, the State Bird of Pennsylvania, a mature Bald Eagle, Mountain Laurel, the State Flower of Pennsylvania and several Hemlock Trees, the State Tree of Pennsylvania.
All of this is in a pretty blue background of a stream flowing.
This scene has then been imposed on top of a yellow colored geographical design of the State of
Pennsylvania
.
To the left of this scene in black lettering is the year “
1895
” to signify the year when the agency came into official existence.
To the right of the scene in black lettering is the year “
1995
” marking 100 years in existence.
Above the scene in yellow lettering is the wording “
Pennsylvania
” and below the wording “
Game Commission
”.
Surrounding all of this is a well-sewn yellow border.
On the back side of this patch you will see it is in fact the black backed version as I have described above.
The patch is 4” in diameter and contains 7 very vivid colors and 2 different size / styles of lettering.  If you are a collector of patches, you know that the more colors in a patch, the more valuable the patch is.
This patch is no exception and in addition is one that is in great demand as this patch is a commemorative patch and was issued in the year the Pennsylvania Game Commission was celebrating its centennial year.
The patch we are selling in this eBay Listing and the patch you will receive are new / unused and have not been sewn on any garment, material or item.
The patch you will receive will be in excellent condition and the same as the one seen in the photographs. We do use stock photographs in our listing ads which means the patch you will receive may or may not vary slightly in color or patch detail.
The patch you receive will be an original, new patch but some patches in the production run do vary slightly from patch to patch.

After this the cardboard mailer will either be wrapped using bubble wrap or the cardboard mailer will be placed into a protective bubble wrap mailer and mailed to you.
Which packing method used will depend on the particular item you have won from us.
The shipping and handling charge will include the packing method described in the paragraph above and a shipping label produced using our business PayPal Account.
In doing so, it will include delivery confirmation along with barcode addressing.
