The Pennsylvania Game Commission is the wildlife management agency in the State of Pennsylvania.
This patch was worn by officers and employees of the Pa. Game Commission in place of a metal badge on outer garments.
Its use on these outer garments varied by weather season and weather conditions.
A few examples of garments this patch was used on would be uniform jackets, uniform coats, uniform vests and uniform caps / hats.
The use of this patch began in the 1990’s when the agency changed the title of its Law Enforcement Officers from Game Protectors to Wildlife Conservation Officers.
Recently the agency again changed the name of the officer to Pennsylvania Game Wardens so these patches are no longer in use and are obsolete.
The cloth badge patches are somewhat hard to acquire and only occasionally seen on Internet auction sites.
In addition to this, the original patches are only available second market from a collector as the patches were never sold to the public by the agency.
This law enforcement patch is being sold for collection purposes only and does not convey any type of law enforcement authority.
The patch is guaranteed to be an original and not duplication

This patch features an Uncut Keystone Shape Border with a black twill material background.
The cloth patch is shaped like a metal law enforcement badge.
In the center of the patch is the State of Pennsylvania Coat of Arms.
Surrounding the coat of arms is a gray circle containing the words “
Wildlife Conservation Officer
” in black lettering.
At the bottom of the gray circle is a small gray text box containing the lettering “
PA
” in black lettering.
Above the gray circle is a graphic of a Bald Eagle which most law enforcement badges have on them, including cloth badge patches.
Surrounding all of this is a well sewn black outer edge.
The backing on the patch is different from the older cheesecloth type.
The backing is rubberized to add to the life of the patch and better protect the sewing, which make it up.
The patch measures 2 ¼” by 3 ¼”.
The patch we are selling in this eBay Listing and the patch you will receive are new / unused and have not been sewn on any garment, material or item.
The patch you will receive will be in excellent condition and the same as the one seen in the photographs.
We do use stock photographs in our listing ads which means the patch you will receive may or may not vary slightly in color or patch detail.
The patch you receive will be an original, new patch but some patches in the production run do vary slightly from patch to patch.

To ship your item to you we will place the item in a cellophane envelope and then into a protective cardboard mailer.
After this the cardboard mailer will be placed into a protective bubble wrap mailer and mailed to you.
The shipping and handling charge will include the packing method described in the paragraph above and a shipping label produced using our family eBay account.
In doing so, it will include delivery confirmation along with barcode addressing.
When we ship the item you will receive an eBay Message from our family, with information which will allow you to track the shipment as it is delivered to you.
We feel barcode addressing expedites shipping therefore getting the item to you sooner.
