This
10 Year Old Patch
is part of the collectible patch series issued by The Pennsylvania Game Commission.
This patch is the second patch in the series that the Pennsylvania Game Commission has issued.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission is the wildlife management agency in the State of Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Bald Eagle Restoration and Nesting Program was officially started in the year 1983 with only 3 nesting pairs of Eagles in the state.
In 1983 agency employees traveled to the wilderness of Saskatchewan to obtain 12 wild Eaglets.
This was the start of the agency’s Bald Eagle Restoration Project.
Over the next 26 years an additional 88 Canadian Bald Eagles were released in Pennsylvania and were successful nesting.
In the year 2005, 99 pair of Bald Eagles were successfully nesting in Pennsylvania.
That number rose to 106 in the year 2006 with 31 of the 67 counties in the state having a nesting pair of Bald Eagles.
To commemorate this momentous milestone in the agency’s history, the Pennsylvania Game Commission commissioned renowned wildlife artist Bob Sopchick to create the first beautiful patch which marked reaching the goal of 100 nests.
The first patch was released in 2006.
In 2011 the total nests in Pennsylvania went over 200 nests and once again the agency released another patch, the 2

in the Bald Eagle Restoration Patch Series.

6 inch Commemorative Patch
and was created in 2011 to mark the establishment of 200 pair of nesting Bald Eagles in the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Bald Eagle Restoration Project.
This patch was created in limited quantities, only 3,000 were produced and the
patch is sold out from the agency.
The only way to acquire this beautiful patch is on the second market from a dealer or collector such as us.
The patch is guaranteed to be an original and not duplication as the patch was acquired directly from the Pennsylvania Game Commission
This very sought after 2

commemorative patch in the Bald Eagle Restoration Patch Series features a pair of Bald Eagles constructing their nest.
A pretty light blue sky has been added to the patch’s background adding to the beauty of the patch.
Above this spectacular wildlife scene in a step down banner arrangement in white lettering is the patch series name, “
Bald Eagle Restoration Project 1983-2011
”.
The years “
1983 – 2011
” are shown to tell you when the agency started the project and when they reached the 200 nest milestone.
That milestone occurred in the year 2011.

Surrounding all of this is a well-sewn gold border.
The patch is 6” in diameter, contains 6 very vivid colors and 3 different sizes / styles of lettering.  I

After this the cardboard mailer will either be wrapped using bubble wrap or the cardboard mailer will be placed into a protective bubble wrap mailer and mailed to you.
Which packing method used will depend on the particular item you have won from us.
Uninsured first class shipping will be $ 3.29 in the United States Of America.

A larger bubble wrap mailer will be used to ship this patch to you.
Our shipping and handling charge will include the above packing method and a shipping label produced using our PayPal account.
In doing so, it will include delivery confirmation along with barcode addressing.
