Paul Cardew is no doubt the world's best known designer and producer of novelty teapots. With his exceptional modelling skills and incredible imagination, he and his team have created the most marvelous collection of amazing and intricate designs possible. In 2008 Paul retired form being a busy teapot designer and so all of his works of art have become far more collectible than ever before, some commanding incredibly high prices.
It is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks, this seems never used. Some glue residue from produce, see last photo.
It measures approx. 7 1/2" tall to the top of lid, 11 1/4" wide from spout to handle.
