    Description

Vintage 1950's - 1960's metal and enamel CUFF LINKS from the American Rod and Gun Clubs of Europe (likely Babenhausen or Heidelburg) featuring the blue, white and gold-tone diamond shapes with a center smaller crest and a detailed, gold-tone fish on top.  Date and place are best guess based on my knowledge of my dad's service time with the US Army in Germany. I believe these are rare - pins and patches come up for sale - but I have not seen cuff links.
During the height of the Cold War, when about 500,000 U.S. military personnel were stationed across Europe, military rod and gun clubs were widespread.
At one point, there were at least 30 operating on U.S. bases, many of which have since closed as forces have drawn down.
Condition is used but good. No chips, no major scratches. May see very small scratches under magnification of photos. Gold-tone is even - no discoloration (you are seeing shadows in photos). See photos.
