Description

In July, 1978 in San Francisco, the president of Guild Wineries and Distilleries addressed a group of "wine writers" to introduce
Silverado California Vodka
, a new 80-proof spirit distilled from grapes.  (Source: San Francisco Examiner, July 11, 1978, pg 6C)
This promotional deck of cards, produced for Guild by Brown & Bigelow, is sealed and unopened, and is little of what remains of the Silverado Vodka marketing effort. The assets of Guild Wineries and Distilleries were bought by Canandaigua Wines in 1991.  Silverado was discontinued.
