Description
USMC Class A WWII-era original Wool Tunic, Trousers, and Overseas cap. This is a complete non-matching (different names on tunic and trousers) WWII-era USMC forest green wool Class A uniform. Tunic is a size 6L, dated September 1944, and has all buttons and belt with collar and sleeve insignia, Tunic is in nice shape with no stains or mothing. Trousers are size 6M and have been hemmed, and there is some damage at the rear waist probably due to an alteration (pictured), All buttons are present, pocket interiors have no holes, and there is no discernible staining or mothing, no date or other info present. Sidecap tag is washed out but my best guess is a 7 3/8, EGA is present but there is some mothing to the right hand side exterior (pictured). If you are familiar with USMC sizing you will know these are fairly big items, but as I am not familiar I can only say these are probably the largest sizes on general issue. A nice set this big is pretty rare. Tunic is named to R H CARRIER, trousers named to G E JONES.
