Fabulous Victorian Wedding Dress in great condition for its Age.
I think the skirt fabric is Satin. The Bodice is lace.Under the bodice the satin top.
I love it keeps the element inside to put a stuff fillthe hips as it was worn at this era.
Measurements: garment lying flat. So please double.
Shoulders:12” stretches to 15”
Armpit to Armpit: 16” stretches to 18 1/2”
Waist: 14” stretches to 15”
Hips: Loose up to 28”
Sleeves” 27” the largest side.
Total lenght from center front: Front: 59 1/2” - Back (tail) 102”
For your reference the mannequin is a women size Medium and it’s measurements are:
Bust: 88 cm / 34.64”
Waist: 66 cm / 25.98”
Hips: 90 cm / 35.43”
I think it could fit a large but PLEASE Check measurements before purchase. A good method is to measure a similar item that fits and compare.
Condition: Very good for its age. It has been cleaned. It maybe needs a good pressing. It has some holes in the leave, pictured, but are hardly noticeable.
Please remember that Vintage Items have been previously worn and loved so a small flaw may go unnoticed.
