For your consideration, a lovely lace wedding dress or liner. It is hard to tell if it was used as a dress or some sort of liner to another dress, because it has its own liner as well as decorative bows and other details that seem like they were intended to be seen. I cannot tell you without knowing for sure, but I do know I would wear this standalone as a wedding dress. It is from the early 1950's or possibly the late 1940's. This dress also features a linen-muslin trim along the hem and the front of the skirting, in a similar style to a classic princess gown. As you can see on the décolletage, the neckline is a V-shape but leads into a sweetheart.
The color is not a bright white, but it is more like a pale ivory or champagne color but it isn't super yellow like a classic ivory. This dress zips up the side with a metal zipper. Approx. modern size Women's XS, I would guess around a Size 0-2. Please check measurements against another dress you own to make sure it will fit! The lace and liner seem to be a blend of acetate(?) As you can see in the photos, there are a number of rust stains, and I am not sure if they would come out with a professional cleaning, or possibly even a soak in Oxi-clean. The most obvious rust stains are on the front (shown in the photos) but I think they would be easily covered if you attached some bows similar to what is already on the dress. Nonetheless I have dropped the price on this dress to account for these flaws.
