Vintage 1960-70s Yellow Shantung Short Dress A line Keyhole Back Cocktail Exc Sm

Isn't this a cute little party dress? I believe it dates to the 1960s-very early 70s, but the design and workmanship is timeless. It looks as fresh and chic now as it did 45-50 years ago.
It's fashioned out of shantung with a high quality lining called sibonne. Because of its rich, thick feel, I believe it may be silk shantung, but there is no fiber label so I can't be sure.
This dress is a highend dress with lots of couture sewing techniques and impeccable tailoring. It has a metal zipper in the back. If you look closely, the tailor cut the center front panel of the dress  and upper back on the bias. This technique adds to the comfort of the fit and a subtle differen
ce in the texture of the weave.
