This is a beautiful vintage 60's short wedding dress. No brand / designer tag, but there is an ILGWU union label in the side seam that dates from 1955 to 1963. Size XS It fits my size 4 (34 - 25 - 34.5) dress form perfectly. Ivory organza, over acetate. Also a layer of ivory nylon netting in the skirt to make it "pouf." Fitted bodice. Boat neckline. Sheer cap sleeves with lace applique. Lace appliques. Bust darts, and multiple long darts through torso. Back nylon zip. Full skirt with a basque waist in back. Gathers create a full look back. Lace applique down the front skirt. Side pleats in front to create fullness at sides. The hem has nylon horsehair braid. In excellent vintage condition. Smoke free home. Bust 34 Waist 25.5 Hip full Length 40 Waist to hem 25 ​Shoulder to waist 15

Description
This is a beautiful vintage waltz length wedding dress.
I believe it dates to the early 1960's or possibly late 1950's.
No brand / designer tag, but there is an ILGWU union label in the side seam that dates from 1955 to 1963. Also a paper tag with the order and style number, and the name Iris.
Size XS / 2 / 4 (best guess.  It fits my size 4 dress form perfectly. Dress form measures 34 - 25 - 34.5.)
Ivory organza, lined with ivory acetate.
Also a layer of ivory nylon netting in the skirt to make it "pouf."
The bodice is very fitted.
Boat neckline.
Sheer cap sleeves with lace applique.
Lace applique across bodice.
Bust darts, and multiple long darts through torso for a shapely fit.
Back nylon zip (zipper may have been replaced at some point?)
Full skirt with a basque waist in back.
Gathers create a full / almost bustle look / in back.
Lace applique in graceful floral sprays down the front skirt.
Side pleats in front to create fullness at sides.
The hem has nylon horsehair braid to hold the skirt's full shape.
I just love the way this dress is made - very "type-y" to the era.
I can really see it with a little fascinator with a short veil.
In excellent vintage condition.  Exceptionally nice.  Clean and wearable.
