  • Condition: Skirt lining needs to be replaced, Stains on two sections of Hem, One missing snap, one loose button. No tears, rips on dress. Material appears to be satin.

    Description

    Classic 1960's custom made gown for petite person (may be size 4,6,8).  Custom made by Fara in White Plains, NY.  It features Amazing hip sash similar to one worn by Bridget Bardot in a movie.  Lots of fine detailing including: boat neck, fitted bodice with darts, band accent below waist, shirred  3/4 length sleeves, small box pleats around waist, 27 covered button back closure, and a full skirt (143" circumference).  Please note:   the skirt lining is in disrepair and will need to be removed or replaced. There are two stains on the skirt bottom and one of the button closures needs to be fixed.  We will gladly provide additional photos and/or measurements.  The Original Owner is featured in two romantic photos from her October 1960 wedding.
