VINTAGE LIGHT WEIGHT PRINTED SATIN BRIDAL GOWN w SHIRRED BODICE & LONG TRAIN

This is an absolutely stunning vintage wedding gown.  It is a lightweight, white fabric that features a white floral print (see photos).  The back of the gown closes with 22 satin covered buttons and loops.  It looks to me like it is from the 1940s.  It looks to me like silk.  Now, because there are no tags or labels on this gown, not even a metal zipper to indicate vintage, I could be wrong.  Please go by the appearance of this gorgeous gown.  I know I cleaned this when I first found it at a local sale, but it was put aside when everything slowed down during the pandemic.  Since I found another gown at a sale recently, I decided to get this one listed as well.  The measurements are as follows:  Waist app. 13" flat across.  Bustline, just under the arm seam, 16 1/2" flat across.  Remember there is a lot of shirring which allows for bosom.  The puffed sleeve is 26" in length.  The front of the gown is 41-42" from the natural waist to the hem. The back is 81-82" in length to trail behind you as you walk down the aisle.   As with any vintage garment, it has been worn and stored away.  I did my best to iron and show it well in photos, but it is sold as is.
