VINTAGE!
Terrific timeless design made by “Carol Gowns by Mr. Walter” from 1970s.
- - Size 14.
Stand-up lace ‘collar’ at high neckline, empire waist, small puff sleeves and cuffs
all trimmed with lace and satin ribbon.
Body is lined with satin, lace on ‘tulle’ type fabric, roses flowers leaves lace design.
Flat satin bows at neckline, umpire waist, etc.
Front bodice has flat panel with covered buttons and lace trim. - - - -
Measurements:
neckline to front bottom is approx 55” long.
Shoulder to cuff is approx 22” long.
Back has “train” design.
Approx 32” around under bust line.
- - - - - VEIL is approx 103” long and is trimmed with lace (2 ½” wide) around edge with rose flower leaves design, same theme as the dress.
Veil also has satin ribbon and pearl trim where comb fits into the hair. - - - Terrific condition, has been laying in a box then hanging up for a while since 1972.
VERY minor color variation around bottom of satin lining – cleaning would probably eliminate.
