This is a vintage 1955 Ducks Unlimited pin/button. 1955 is a rare year for these pins. Approximate measurements are shown in photos. (The quarter shown in photo #12 is just for comparison purposes to the pin). The side of the button reads, "WESTERN BADGE & NOV CO SAINT PAUL 2. MINN."  The pin was made by Western Badge and Novelty Co, as the backside of the pin demonstrates.
The pin is in nice shape as photos demonstrate. Any wear is consistent with age/use/storage of the vintage piece. The face of the button is smooth to the touch. The image has some lightened spots or whitish speck discolorations in areas, not sure why, but all my vintage Ducks Unlimited pins had these specks as well. In photos, you can see one near the beak of the duck, others below the word, "Unlimited," and some next to the "1955" writing. The paper backing has yellowed with age, and there is an ever-so-slight crease in the paper. The metal components have darkened/have discolorations secondary to age.
