16” long “Take To Pieces” Deck Plans/Model for the French Line “
Normandie”
. This is a modern, hand made production using original architectural drawings that have been reduced. There are ten hand colored decks. Each colored deck is bonded to a piece of thick photo matting paper, then 3 coats of a clear coat finish applied. The decks are joined together with solid brass hardware that is easily removed so that all decks can be examined. Three crudely fashioned funnels are attached to the top deck. The bottom deck has two small wood blocks attached so that the model is elevated slightly. Each deck is numbered and identified, for example, “10. Sun Deck”, “9 Promenade Deck”, etc. . The model is 16” Long, 1 1/2” wide, and including the funnels is 1 1/4” Tall. Weighs 3.1 oz.
